Better Dads. Better World.

Helping all parents be more intentional, experience more joy and find more fulfillment.

Grown Up Dad explores the evolving role of today’s fathers and what defines a good dad. By identifying outdated norms, Grown Up Dad intends to empower parents and inspire change.

Our Work

Our work is primarily disseminated through our public television and streaming documentary series Grown Up Dad. Additional research, toolkits and workshops will be distributed via this website.

Grown Up Dad is committed to transforming societal perceptions of fatherhood and parenting in the United States.

Our central thesis is simple yet profound: involved fathers lead to healthier, happier children, and more fulfilled parents, both at home and in the workplace. This, in turn, has far-reaching benefits for society at large.

Our primary audience includes parents of children still at home, with a focus on reaching influential managers, policymakers, and supportive community networks. By targeting these groups, we aim to create a unified understanding and language around involved parenting, facilitating the development of policies and cultures that encourage active fatherhood.

Our ultimate goal is to ignite a cultural shift, paving the way for a world where the roles and responsibilities of fatherhood are reimagined for the betterment of future generations.

Grown Up Dad is important because it's more than a TV show; it shares tips and tools to help all parents have conversations about family life. We intend for the nonprofit to advocate for lowering the cost of childcare, create worker flexibility, improve parental benefits, reform fatherhood tropes in mass media and build more equitable partnerships at home.
